Casting Methods
We use two different casting methods, weightbearing and non-weightbearing. Read how they are performed using Footmaxx scanners and software.
- Weightbearing
The first method is the weightbearing method. It involves a patient walking across an advanced scanner several times. - Non-Weightbearing
The second method is the non-weightbearing method. It involves either scanning a patient’s foot or casting it while they are seated.
